Original system had (2) chiller plants to handle building load, consisting of (5) Centrifugal Chillers with numerous repair issues.
Utilizing a "decoupled" loop, we centralized the system to a single chiller plant with the installation of (2) new Trane CVHF410 centrifgual chillers with VFD motor control; and (1) CVHE050. This system resulted in lowering utility costs; and provided a dependable system with redundancy.
| "Our poperty at PAJ, Inc. in Dallas was in dire need of new chillers, motors and VFDs in 2006. ACIS performed a quick change out of the old 1985 chillers with new units and rerouted our once dual mechanical rooms into one main machanical room today. Since then our electrical consumption has dropped dramatically and our power factor is now in the low 90's - that has never been seen before. The Waterview Plaza building has had few previous owners and it seemed far short of properly scheduled maintenance until ACIS took over." |
